Master of Science

The Master of Science in Psychology at ST PAULS COLLEGE is a two-year full-time program affiliated to Bangalore University. It seeks to facilitate an in-depth understanding of the key concepts, methodologies and applications of the field.  The course covers all major premises and fields of psychology such as Clinical Psychology, Research Methods and Statistics,  Cognitive Psychology and Industrial & Organizational Psychology. Throughout the program, students will engage in a combination of coursework, supervised training in counseling and professional ethics, and research projects to develop a well-rounded skill set. They will gain a strong foundation in theoretical frameworks, psychological assessments, intervention strategies and research methodology.
The program emphasizes the integration of theory and practice, allowing students to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios and challenges. The dynamic coursework and relevance of the programme help aspiring psychologists, practitioners, academicians and researchers to develop effective, integrative and holistic skills and repertoire to contribute significantly to society by facilitating well-being at micro and macro levels. Students who complete the requirements of the programme are eligible to take up various roles such as Counseling Psychologist, Academician, Industrial Psychologist, Trainer, Psychometric Analyst and many more.
